The East Carolina men's and women's cross country teams each earned third-place finishes in their respective 5K races in Friday's Wolfpack/Adidas Invitational at the WakeMed Cross Country Course.
Following a three-week hiatus between meets, the East Carolina men's and women's cross country teams will compete for the second time in 2014 on Friday, Sept. 19 at NC State's Wolfpack Invitational in Cary, N.C.
Behind a quintet of top-40 finishers, the East Carolina women's cross country team earned a fourth-place finish, while the men's team took eighth at the season-opening Covered Bridge Invitational Friday evening.
