The East Carolina cross country team opened the 2015 season at the Covered Bridge Invitational hosted by Appalachian State on Friday. The squad was led by junior Caroline Reiser on the women’s side and senior Brather Cline on the men’s.

The East Carolina cross country team begins the 2015 season Friday, Sept. 4 at the Covered Bridge Invitational hosted by Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C.

The East Carolina women's indoor track and women's cross country programs were honored by the NCAA for its latest multiyear NCAA Division I Academic Progress Rate (APR), which ranked in the top 10 percent of all squads in its respective sport.
