Senior jumper Avion Jones became the second member of the East Carolina track and field program to qualify for this year's NCAA Outdoor Championships as he tied for the highest mark in the high jump on Saturday at the NCAA East Preliminary inside Hodges Stadium on the campus of the University of North Florida.
